I have been feeling so called to seeking out elder wisdom recently. The type that can only come from all those laps around the sun.

Dowsing 101
Dowsing can flip people out when they see rods or pendulums moving seemingly like magic. We've all watched a few too many scary movies! I guess is it magic - if your definition of magic is intention + source energy connection + action. I saw the word sorcery the other day and it occurred to me that it literally is 'source-ry' - wielding Source energy. Free energy - very much felt and largely unseen. Hence the mystery.
In the words of Walt Woods, a dowsing tool is "a readout device for your intuition". No funky spirits or ouija boards. All you. You and your body of 80% water connecting to the waters of the earth. It can take a little time to learn to dowse so don't be disheartened if your rods or pendulum don't respond right away. Some have an immediate gift - others take a while. There can be a bit of training involved - literally setting a program within your subconscious which is easier than it sounds. And, probably most importantly, calling in the pieces of you that know this ancient wisdom already. In your bones. A re-membering. Where is divining or connection to the elements in your lineage? How did you connect with the elements as a kid. What feelings arise in your body when you percolate on that?

Intention is everything. Dowsing is about getting your mind out of the way and feeling/communicating via your body. Observing. We are all part of the earth hey...
